  1. After going through a divorce and basically losing everything I had, my sister let me move in with her. She helped me to get back on my feet, and it made us become even closer! I love her dearly!

  2. I'll forever be grateful to my husband of 31 years who not only loves me but also took my young children in and loves them as his own. Now they are grown and have families and truly realize the love and sacrifice he made back then. A gift from God that I frequently look back and understand how much He loves.

  4. I can't think of just ONE big thing. A thoughtful thing my mom did was take care of me when I had ear surgery recently.

  5. I am so thankful that my daughter shares her beautiful son with me. So many grandparents don't have this type of relationship with their children or their grandchildren. My daughter has truly blessed me.

  7. A few years back my sister did something for me that had never been done for my in all my 45 years on earth. She gave me a birthday party, and a surprise one at that. It was great and we had a wonderful time with family and friends. I was so surprised that I even cried. I love her so much.

  8. I would say the most thoughtful thing a loved one ever did for me was my mom & sister giving me a gift card for a massage.

  9. I believe the most thoughtful thing a loved one has done for me is my little brother filling in as a father for my son. My son's father left when he was very young and therefore he became extremely attached to me. I didn't mind this but I knew it was good for him. My brother became his male role model. My son, Chase, spent alot of time with my brother. They went to concerts together, amusement parks, play video games, everything. My brother, Greg, passed away 2 years ago come Christmas and I know he would be so proud of my son, of the man he's become. They were so close, I think he's the only one who misses him as much as me. Greg was always there for us, it didn't matter what it was. I think the most thoughtful thing Greg ever did was exist. He was our best friend, everyone should have a friend like he was.

  12. Hmm. I'm not sure. I've always had the most supportive parents. They gave up a lot of comforts so I'd be able to get in a good school <3

  13. It's hard to pinpoint one particular deed or person, but I'd have to say that I aspire to be the kind of person to my daughter that my mother was to me...a loving, caring mom.

  14. I want to be like my brother. He is so giving. He is a missionary in the middle of the typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, and he stays for those who need Jesus.

  15. Halloween 2005, Someone set the mountains on fire beside our house, we were out of town and my mom and step dad stayed and helped keep the flames from our home. It was one of the scariest things I've been through, the thought of everything you worked hard your life for burning down in minutes.

  17. My best friend of 30 years and her husband have pulled my butt out of the fire more times than I care to admit. I've had a lot of problems over the last 15 yrs with my partner leaving me financially destroyed, then dying 2 yrs later. Severe problems with my back ending in permanent disability after 4 major surgeries and she has always been there. That's what I'm grateful for and those are the nicest things that have been done for me. newcanuck52@yahoo.com

  18. After losing my 25 yr old son Jan 2, 2011, my best friend was my rock. Even though she was going through a painful divorce at the time, she was there for me every day. But even more than that, after almost 3 years, she is the only one that has no problem talking about him and remembering the good times without fear of hurting me. When you lose a child, you live for the moments when someone says his name or remembers him, but people are afraid to cause you pain. I love her so much for always including my son in our time together.

  20. My husband of almost 22 years has done so many things for me. He saved me from an abusive relationship and showed me that there are men who treat women respectfully and as equals. In addition to all that he is constantly doing little things like bringing me coffee in the morning. :-)

  22. One of the most thoughtful and loving things done for me was from my brother,. I was a single mom of 6 and one day he just showed up at my house with his wife and told me to pack a bag because I was going to Las Vegas with my best friend for three days . Him and his wife paid for my friend as well and babysat along with other family members. I was so shocked and to this day it was the only vacation I ever had alone. :) He's gone now but what he did for me was the most wonderful gift you can give someone who desperately needed a vacation. :)

  27. I think the most thoughtful thing is when one of my brothers gets or does something for me just because he knows I like or want it. Not because it's my birthday or Christmas or anything... just because he wants to. It tells me that he was thinking of me and wanted to do something nice for me. :)

  29. About a year ago, after I published my first ebook I got diagnosed with a very aggressive case of Rheumatoid Arthritis and I thought I would never be able to write again. It was a really bad time for me... It felt so unfair that I would loose the ability to use my hands at such a young age (23). That year for Christmas, my best friend Mike bought me the most thoughtful gift ever. It took him days of research but he bought me this amazing keyboard and mouse that support my carpal/arthritic wrists and made it so I can actually type on a computer again. It was really expensive....

Sure I still have bad days, but whenever I use my computer I get a bit teary eyed that he cared or believed in me that much.

  30. My husband was having back surgery in another city (175 miles away) and my niece came with me to sit with with surgery. As my husband had heart transplant, I get scared about any surgery. She was the only family that could come that distance.

  32. I have this awesome cousin who put sup with me whining and venting and, most importantly, thinking out my problems with her. I don't have a lot of issues, and this doesn't happen very often, but it's just wonderful to have someone who I know will listen, understand, and now judge. It always makes me feel better and lets me think my way through problems.

  34. Well, I have been blessed with an amazingly awesome husband. Just yesterday he decided he was gonna give me an all about me day. We started with my favorite Starbucks drink (mocha latte with soy no whip) and ended with a fun game of slaps and cuddle time :) Thank you! kamclauc AT gmail DOT com
