ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer reads are actually my re-reads: Lord of the Rings, Watership Down, Eight Cousins, Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey. They remind me of when I first read them and are a source of nostalgia for me.

DeleteI like to read suspense romance and cozy mysteries in the summer. I set up my outdoor office, work on my computer for a while and then read. When I get hot, I jump in the pool for awhile and then get out and read some more.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely holiday weekend:)

During the summer, I look forward to catching up on my fun reading. My favorites include sweet historical & western romances. However, as long as it's a sweet / clean read, I'll probably enjoy it.

My favorite summer past time is spending more time with the kids since they're out of school!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I don't read much during summer because it's vacations so I go out with friends almost everyday. But in this part of the world is almost winter, enjoy your summer-time. ;)
ReplyDeleteserena91291@gmail.com
I love reading poolside. When it gets too hot, you can jump in. It is perfection! As for what I read during the summer, it is as varied as it is the rest of the year. I get in moods. I might read contemporary, high fantasy, or comics. Depends on the day!
ReplyDeleteashley4n6 (at) gmail (dot) com
It would be hard to say a favorite read because I read all the time and go from book to book. I have read and reviewed almost 300 books this year. I read every single day, even on vacation. Summer pastime, would be picking and enjoying fresh from the garden. Also I enjoy canning.
ReplyDeleteRedrabbitt@aol.com
I love spending my Summer in my gazebo surrounded by nature; bright blue skies, birds chirping, and flowers all around! Of course, reading a lovely sweet romance goes hand in hand with this relaxing Summer vibe.
ReplyDeleteluminosa98 at gmail dot com
I live in Florida, so I read on the beach as much as possible....as for fave Summer reads.....I'm not a "seasonal" reader...so what I read would depend on what I feel like reading when I'm standing in front of my bookshelves deciding on my next read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing giveaway!
